Juvenile Huntington's disease (JHD) affects younger individuals. Upwards of 10 percent of known cases of Huntington's disease is the Juvenile form. Individuals who suffer with JHD experience seizures and many other horrific attributes of this disease, however the onset of physical and emotional symptoms happens earlier in life. Diagnosis of JHD usually happens when symptoms manifest before the age of twenty. Juvenile Huntington's disease is devastating - currently there are no treatments available for our youth.  It is imperative that we broaden awareness of JHD and help fund research!

This year we will have the Brockville Thrill Dancers as well as the Broadway Dancers. Also joining us will be the Brockville Ghost Busters, a SMA Karate Club. he Rocky High and the Northern Lights Band will join us for entertainment following the walk. Come and pound the pavement with us, Drive your scooter and don't forget your fur babies. It's going to be lots of fun!!

Donations are allocated to Dr. Blair Leavitt's Huntington's disease research at the Centre for Huntington Disease.
